June 2021 Newsletter

We in the EXCOM look forward to a late summer reunion in Bremerton between September 9th through 12th, 2021.  We are still working through remaining COVID-19 restrictions, which are in the process of being largely lifted for smother scheduling and location assignment of events.  For the first time ever, our speaker is a female service member who has an extensive combat record and also guarded terrorist prisoners in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.  This year’s reunion will have the banquet on Friday evening, instead of Saturday evening.  The next newsletter will be published in August 2021 with the final details.  Please reserve rooms prior to August 11th, since another reunion group is in town and the USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) will be in Bremerton and 3,000 sailors will be looking for lodging.  We started planning for the reunion on April 23rd and been working on contract negotiations and event planning ever since.  The Bremerton-Kitsap Airporter bus shuttle will provide free services once again and please thank the driver for their free services.  If you desire; you can also send a thank you letter for the free services to the owner of Bremerton-Kitsap Airporter!
