Served aboard the Turner Joy from April 1973 until January 1975 as FTG-3. Assigned to MK-56 GFCS and MK-5 TDS maintenance and operation. I spent three weeks in the Gulf of Tonkin just after the last 5" shot was fired (Good timing eh!). Chief Bartlett was in charge of the Fire Control team at that time. I reported directly to FTG-1 Ferrell. Very good memories of the two West Pac deployments. Subic, Hong Kong, Subic, Surabaya, Subic, Yokosuka, Subic, Honolulu, Long Beach and San Diego.
